A LOOK AT | Fresh Soy Face Cleanser

Hi friends!

Today I wanted to take a look at the Fresh Soy Face Cleanser.

I actually got a sample of this cleanser from Sephora as one of the birthday rewards a couple of months ago, so I have had a lot of time to really test it and see if it is worth the $38 (!!) price tag.

I am going to be honest: I don't normally spend money on things like this, I mean I want too, but it gets expensive!  I probably normally wouldn't spend this much money, but overall I think that it is worth the price.  Something that I have come to realize is that it is important to invest in your skin, and products that make your skin the healthiest, because, ultimately, you only have one "skin"and it is to take care of it.

This cleanser makes my skin feel amazing!  It really cleans my skin and gets rid of all the makeup and icky stuff that sits on the skin.  It is a gentle gel cleanser that cleanses without stripping the skin of moisture.  Another thing that I really enjoy about this cleanser is that it is easy to wash off.  Sometimes I find that some cleansers are either difficult to wash off or leaves a sticky residue and it is not a sun time.

Overall, if you are willing to spend $38 or are able to get a travel size (for less $$), I do recommend this product for a nice AM/PM cleanser.

Have you tried this cleanser?  What did you think?  What are your favorite cleansers?  Let me know!

Talk to you soon!

Father's Day at the Twin's Game!

Yesterday was father's day (SO to all the dads and father figures in the world, and especially to my own dad love you).  Since he talked about it practically non-stop, my sister and I decided to surprise my dad to a Twin's game.  If you're not familiar, the Minnesota Twins is a baseball team, and definitely one of our favorites to watch.  They were playing the New York Yankees, so definitely a game to watch!

We got amazing parking spots - right outside the stadium!

It was an absolutely gorgeous day out, plus we had pretty good seats.  It was up high enough that we could see the whole field and every play but we got a nice breeze which was appreciated because it was about 93 degrees out.

I took this picture and put it on my instagram (@emilyciernia).  Just a nice panoramic view of the field and Minneapolis in the background.

Me with the fam.  Had a really fun time :)  Plus, the Twins won 7-4!!!!

After the game, we got to go walk on the field!!!! We were hoping to run the bases, but APPARENTLY it was only meant for kids.  Boo.  But it was cool to see, nonetheless.

I've always loved going to games with my dad and I am extra glad I was able to celebrate on this day too.
Happy father's day, dad! Love you

Hope you all had fantastic weekends!
Talk to you soon,

Celebrating My Mom's Birthday!

It was my mom's birthday the other day!  She just turned......25 I'm positive.  No really ;)

But to celebrate, we took a nice walk around the lake early in the morning, and then went for coffee afterwards.

We have a family tradition that when it is someone's birthday, they get to choose where we go for dinner.  My mom chose to go to Rudy's rooftop bar and grill, which is on top of the original Rudy's restaurant.  We decided to go for lunch because it fills up quickly.

Luckily, it was such a LOVELY day outside.  Nothing but blue sky.

I tried to take a inconspicuous picture of the roof, but accidentally got my finger in the shot.  I was going to crop it out, but I thought it was funny!

I got a delicious sandwich that came with fries and a pickle.  So yummy!!

For her birthday presents, we got her a bag of M&Ms, a case of Dr. Pepper that she can bring to work, and a FitBit (because she had asked for one).  I spent a long time trying to set up the FitBit to her phone (it was harder than it looked!)  S0 overall what a fun day!

That was how we celebrated my mom's birthday.
Happy Birthday, Mom!! Xo

Summer Book Wish List | 2016

Summer is just kicking off, which means more time outside, lounging on the deck or at the beach!  With that, I also enjoying reading and since I have graduated college, I finally feel like I can read FOR FUN (I know crazy right) instead of for classes.

I thought I would compile a list of books that I am hoping to read this summer!

1. A Little Life by Hanya Yanagihara
This book supposedly won Amazon's Best Book of 2015 Award and I am interested in the subject.  It is about friendship and tragedy.  This is definitely a must this summer.

2. Thirteen Ways of Looking by Colum McCann

3. A Tale For the Time Being by Ruth Ozeki

4. A Man Called Ove by Fredrik Backman

5. The Nightingale by Kristin Hannah

I am so excited to get my hands on these books and start reading!

Let me know if you have read any of these books or have any suggestions!  I would deffo appreciate it!
